Beating the Monday Work Blues

The weekend's almost upon us but are you feeling the Monday morning blues at your job in BPO Jobs Philippines this early?

Does this happen every now and again, or every week? If it's the latter, maybe you should re-think  your job?

Do you feel you're in the situation where you're not ready to move jobs just yet? Is it because you've new at the job, or because you want to gain more experience, or maybe save for the rough times ahead?

If you find yourself in a job that is okay but not brilliant, or that you really need to see through for a period of time, here are the few things you can do is help you through and hopefully make it more fun!

Think Positively

Remind yourself of the positive aspects of your work: working with friendly colleagues, or the good salary for examples.

What else can you like about your job? Is it certain job assignments that challenges your skills set? Can you incorporate more of that into your working day?

Prioritize Your Workload

If your problem is you're working such long hours that you don't have time to have fun outside work, let alone in the office, you need to tackle this.

Prioritize your workload: re-negotiate deadlines if necessary, and make yourself leave the office on time. There are periods when we're extra-busy, but if this is happening to you a lot, you need to figure a way out.

Are you not being stimulated enough mentally, please consider training or a course that is work-related. This will give you new insights, keep you updated, and will be a useful addition to your CV when you are ready to move on.

Have Fun

Just because your work is serious, doesn't mean you can't have fun while you do it!

Inject fun into your workload. That could be as simple as great snack on Monday afternoon or hanging out
and dining with the team on Friday evening.

Your colleagues don't have to be your best buddies, but you'll enjoy your working day more if you surround yourself with people who can make you laugh.
