As you contemplate your career choices after college, it's not probable to know what opportunities Life can throw your way. And there are many opportunities waiting to be claimed in BPO Philippines. 

What you can do, however, is know yourself better-- identify what your interests, talents and values are, and then explore which jobs that have good use of all of them.

So don't just sit back waiting for things to happen, for the opportunities to come, work to discover yourself, and what makes you happy.

KNOW YOURSELF, ASK YOURSELF

What are my interests?
What are my strengths, assets?
What are my needs?

List down the answers carefully to gain full understanding on what things you are good at, and WHY you are so good at these activities in order to determine which potential jobs you can be productive at, as well as have a pleasant experience.

KNOW OPTIONS

Find out more about your career options. Take the initiative to explore how the world works yourself.

Research online about different kinds of work, the typical qualifications needed and the salary ranges for various occupations.

In addition, go and meet people who are in the line of work or company you might be interested in, talk to them for information and their experiences.

Try out careers and companies by taking internships or part-time jobs, if they offer them.

KNOW YOUR PRIORITIES

After knowing yourself better and trying out some part-time jobs you'd probably by this time have strong preferences on what you want to do for the next 5 to ten years.

Whatever it is that you learn and discover about yourself and work, these will help you choose a good career when the time comes.

Most importantly, keep this in mind: Whatever you decide today, you can change it tomorrow. Nothing is set in stone, unless you want it to be.

Many change careers several times during their lives, with everything sectors and enterprises can offer, even in BPO Philippines so the first job you choose right after college probably doesn't have to be your career for your whole life-- unless you want it to be.
