The Job's not Right for You
Nothing is perfect, so you try to make the best of every work day, grateful that you are employed. You're not content though and clearly not looking forward to the commute to the office but eyes always at the clock until it strikes 5.
You don't need to be psychic to see that you're not right for the job, the job's not right for you. There are warnings to watch out for.
RED LIGHT: Lonely Work
You like to socialize, but at work, you have no friends.
You do not connect with any of your co-workers in the office. You don't even talk, except just to say good morning and chat politely about the weather. You don't anyone there on a personal level. You go in the office, you work and you leave.
You even eat lunch, alone.
What’s keeping you from making friends in the office? Are you and your co-workers too different in age, culture or likes?
Work can be long, dry and alienating. Oftentimes, having friends make you happy, and being happy actually makes you more productive.
YELLOW LIGHT: Work Overwhelms You
With deadlines and quotas, it's typical for one to get tired, but take it as a warning that you feel tired at work every day. You're being slow, lethargic that it feels like you have more work than you're capable of completing in the allotted time.
If you experience frequent bouts of anxiety, that's emotional stress, coupled with the physical stress of work. The Dark Ages are over; you're not a serf or a slave unless you allow yourself to be.
GREEN LIGHT: You would rather do SOMETHING ELSE.
If you spend work hours, thinking of doing something else rather than the tasks at hand, or actually procrastinating work hours away in other distractions other than doing your job. You're better off finding that one thing that you can commit to.
Do the thing that you love to do, make that your job and make it take care of you because Life is short-- it'll be such a waste if you spend years and years stuck in a job that you do not love.
If you see that you have these symptoms, it's time for you to help yourself. Look around for something worthy, opportunity is everywhere, in BPO PHILIPPINES.
