When this happens you will soon realize that you will have to take care of your own needs, cook and clean for yourself.  As you strive to adjust to your schedule, you can become independent and self-serving. 


Learn to Budget/spend wisely


One of the greatest lessons one can learned when one is receiving own earnings/salary is to appreciate the value of money and to respect the habit of setting an amount aside as savings.


Though there are temptations to spend on unnecessary things and activities, it is to be hoped that Life can teach you which things are worth spending for (like family, for the future) and you will be open to heed such lessons without experiencing the harsh consequences of mounting bills.


Proficiency with Digital Technology


When you're employed in BPO Philippines, you will have opportunities to learn technology and be savvy when using PCs, laptops, mobile devices and especially your way around browsing through the Internet.


You would also develop efficient dexterity in using technology and well as opportunities to be exposed to cutting edge trends in digital hardware and software. 


Respect for Others and for Self


A corporate culture is very different from a campus culture. Social skills you acquired as students are further refined as you get exposed to a variety of individuals, attitudes, nationalities and cultures.


In school where you have the free choice of selecting your friends and cliques, in the corporate world of BPO Philippines it is ideal, and in your career's best interests, if you are able to work with EVERYONE professionally and pleasantly, towards mutual benefits and progress for the company, its projects and profits. 


In school, it's a solo struggle to achieve good grades to graduate but in work, it's both a solo and a group struggles to meet quota, achieve recognition and reward.

Improved Communication Skills


In BPO Philippines, there is a greater application for communication, both verbal and written. You will be trained, you will be taught to learn how to self-improve on communicating efficiently and effectively through whatever medium, through phone, through correspondence (emails, memos, documents), through presentation (using PowerPoint and other digital media).


You will master the English language as a natural-born speaker. And also be provided the opportunity to learn other languages; such as Chinese, Japanese, German et cetera to interact with international clients.
