The Philippines remain globally competitive in human resources, as professionals in the country are in-demand globally because of their work ethics and cultural compliance, strong collaboration attitude, and positive outlook
It's good time for the government and private sector invest in education in boosting more post-graduate programs and encourage Filipinos to take up post-graduate studies and boost competitiveness.
The pressing trend is that that multinationals are now considering post-graduate degree holders as more capable and valuable than college graduates. The Philippines must prepare for this change in the global job market.
Though skills and attitude are still relevant, strong academic credentials and advanced educational backgrounds will be the deciding factor in hiring.
Other Asian countries, like India and China, are now improving their educational system by introducing more post-graduate programs, preparing their next generation workforce to compete globally.
The Philippines must capitalize on more post-graduate programs in universities and colleges; make it accessible to a vast majority in order to claim global employment opportunities in the coming decade.
Doing so, the Filipino workforce will continue to be prized globally by employers and enterprises for innovation, creative design, and excellence in the medical arts.
