Think Your Way Out of the Pile
No one wants to feel "invisible" in life, yet we often let others see us as little more than a statistic, especially when working in a large company or sector, like BPO Philippines.
Referred easily as 'applicants', 'employees', or 'human resources', our individual personalities are being buried into 'a pile' of numbers, labels and data.
Most people go into the pile, doing what’s asked of them but not much more.

Get Paid for What You’re Truly Worth
There's a SECRET to make more money for yourself, especially working in a booming industry like BPO Philippines.
You have to feel you're WORTH the money.
People tend to fail to recognize their value. They give away their time and skills for free or bargain prices, because they don't realize that they're worth more. This personal lack of self-value or self-esteem is at the heart of under earning.

Mixing Work and Romance
Experts warn: be careful of romantic relationships in the workplace, especially in BPO Philippines.
Oftentimes an office romance starts nice and convenient with that special someone who is so cute and you get along well but there's risk that if the relationship goes sour one day, it may affect your job performance, cause office division, toxic gossip, it can get you fired, sued or both.
The office is a good place to meet a romantic partner. At work, one can get to see and know more of who the other person is. And working together is a good test if you have chemistry, common backgrounds and shared skills to appreciate about each other.
Yet there are no guarantees especially when it comes to relationships either in the office or out, but there are ways to improve your chances of establishing an office romance and getting to enjoy it too.

Three Ways to show that You're not Professional
In filling a job, an employer will review and choose from submitted applications and resumes the candidates who are worthy or interesting to be called in for a face-to-face interview.
During this screening process, it is the little mistakes, the unchecked details that can ruin one's chances of being taken seriously as a potential candidate, as a professional in BPO Philippines.
Make sure you watch out for the following and correct them according, in order to get a good shot at the job you're applying for.

How to make your Job Happy
Start, work and end every day in BPO Philippines happy by trying out these tips.
CONSIDER PROMOTIONS CAREFULLY
Though getting promoted can be a happy occasion for one's career, longer work hours, demanding workload and more stressful responsibilities can come with the higher pay and position.
Unless this is what you really want to achieve, you're probably better off working in mid-level, while having the time and energy as well as resources to pursue what is truly your happiness.
CUT DOWN YOUR COMMUTE
Commuting could be everyone's least favorite daily activity, especially when caught in the morning, noon and evening traffic rush.
If it's safe and possible, walk or bike to work. You'll get daily exercise, and be more alert when you start your day.
You can do something that's the best of both worlds. Don't get stuck waiting for your commute to start, walk a couple of blocks to where you know there won't be any competition to get seats. Then if your office is in a heavy traffic area, drop of a stop that's convenient and walk all the way in.
SOCIALIZE AT WORK
Though there's could be nothing stopping you to skip out of the office at 5 PM, it can be beneficial if you stay to socialize with your co-workers.
Socializing at work can also mean sharing lunch or snacks, chatting between cubicles when allowed, or even communicating through email.
Primates, like chimpanzees, spend at least an hour a day for social activities. Humans being social animals require the same amount of time to be healthy.
Studies have shown that people who experience at least 7 hours a day in positive social activity at work or with family and friends tend to feel/be happier and more fulfilled in life.
GO CLUBBING
Join a club in the office or outside, engage in team sports or enjoy a new hobby that lets you connect with others, especially with your colleagues/officemates.
Enjoying a group activity can gain you more happiness gain. Humans are evolved social creatures, we are happier when we're interacting with other people of similar interests or shared backgrounds.
Becoming part of a group at work will boost your interests and talents and build happy social ties
GET AWAY FROM WORK
When the weekends, vacation time or the holidays come, make the most of it not worrying about work or spending it in the office.
Leisure time is need to relieve stress, reduce the risk of depression, and improves one's self-esteem.

Beat the 3 PM Zzz Habit
By three o' clock in the afternoon, work in the office becomes difficult as our energy and focus weaken. Our whole body slows down, triggering the need to take a nap.
And the need is stronger if you slept late last night and had to still wake up early to beat the morning traffic commuting to work in BPO Philippines.
Though sometimes the best way to deal with the temptation to sleep/nap is just to give in for a set of ten minutes, most office environments tend to not support that.
Most of us turn to caffeinated beverages like coffee or soda, turn to smoking for the nicotine fix or eat copious amounts of chocolate or candy for the energy burst. But the price we pay for the sudden burst of energy is heavy, literally. We gain a few pounds in the process and feel more sleepy at the end.
There are more healthy ways to re-energize to see the work day through and complete the day's tasks so that when you get home, all you have to look to are your much deserved rest and relaxation.
